About the webinar
Latin America is a region where renewable energy is experiencing rapid growth. High electricity prices in most of the region, growing demand, energy security issues and, in some cases, export potential, provide fertile ground for the deployment of renewable energy technologies, a fact that is further enhanced by recent declines in some technology costs and increased competitiveness.
In this webinar we will learn about the progress in the development of renewable energies in Latin America. The case of the construction of the NAMA in renewable energies in Peru will be presented, which will contribute to the achievement of the objectives established through the contributions foreseen and determined at the national level that will be communicated to the UNFCCC.
The webinar will be held at Spanish. If you have any questions about this event, please contact the LEDS LAC Platform Secretariat: info@ledslac.org.
