About the webinar
The management of resources has a great impact on the environment, linked both to the extraction of materials or resources, and to greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) and pollution. There is great potential to increase the efficiency of resources throughout the life cycle of a resource or product, considering the extraction of raw material, design, production, transportation, consumption and its final disposal.
In this framework, we launched a new Working Group on Efficiency of Resources, with the aim of providing a space for the exchange of knowledge, experience and discussion on the different strategies that allow for a more efficient management of resources, as well as designing systems that reduce consumption and waste of resources, while contributing to climate protection. The nature of this working group is multidisciplinary, since it combines different areas of action linked to climate change, such as production, transport, consumption, and waste management.
This webinar will present new experiences in the region and challenges in the field. The webinar will be held in Spanish. If you have any questions about this event, please contact the LEDS LAC Platform Secretariat: [email protected].
