About the webinar
A product of COP21, the Paris agreement marks a milestone in the global negotiations on climate change, posing a common goal of not exceeding a 2 ° C increase in average global temperature. Keeping the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities and acknowledging the capabilities of each country, the Agreement establishes the foundations for progress collectively towards a resilient and low emissions development.
In this webinar, three high level technical and political experts shared their views on the implications of the Paris Agreement for Latin America and the Caribbean, with special attention to the challenges and opportunities for the making of national, subnational and sector level economic and social development policies and strategies.
