About the webinar

The Closed Looped Cycle Production (CLCP) in the Americas program, led by the Organization of American States (OAS), promotes an innovative low emission development strategy that aims promote production methods towards sustainable manufacturing, through systems capable of providing high quality and environmentally friendly products to consumers.

CLCP seeks to rationalize the use of materials and resources, and involves a fundamental focus on the design of products and services inspired by the Cradle-to-Cradle® design principles, and draws from the decades of experience, capacity, and instruments developed under the framework of sustainable production and consumption, including life cycle analysis, sustainable materials management, cleaner production, eco-efficient resource management, among other methods that help companies to become more productive, competitive, and sustainable.

The objective of this webinar was to discuss of the application the Cradle-to-Cradle® design philosophy to improve urban mobility, based on the principles of closed loop cycle, zero waste projects and sustainable design (Hannover principles), as strategies to facilitate the transition to a low emission climate resilient circular economy. The speakers presented the PCC conceptual framework and a practical example of application of the C2C concept to urban mobility.

The webinar was in spanish.
