Abot the webinar

Considering in advance the impact of climate change and natural disasters on development plans and projects can increase the long-term success of such initiatives and promote resilient development, while realizing multiple co-benefits. The Climate and Disaster Risk Screening Tools, developed by the World Bank, is a compilation of tools available for both the national level (sectoral strategy and policy) as well as the project level, to help practitioners understand potential risks and priority actions for public programs and investments.

This webinar presented in detail the Climate and Disaster Risk Screening Tools and their functions. The webinar will also present the first experiences using the tool in the Ministry of Finance of Nicaragua, as well as various sector perspectives regarding the need to identify risks in climate sensitive projects in the pursuit of climate-resilient growth.

The webinar was in Spanish. If you have questions, please contact LEDS LAC Platform Secretariat: info@ledslac.org.
