The objective of this webinar was to provide critical insights into the opportunities and challenges of assessing the climate resilience of low-emission development strategies as well as the mitigation potential of climate change adaptation strategies.

- Pablo Benitez, Senior Economist, World Bank, who explained the interaction between mitigation and adaptation in the context of development, as well as some case examples, and some tools such as climate-smart planning.
- Roberto Azofeifa, from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Costa Rica, who explained the case of Costa Rica in livestock projects in the Chorotega region that have incorporated mitigation and adaptation measures.
- Bram Govaerts on the Mexico case study of how conservation agriculture can be a means to mitigate and adapt to climate change.
