About the webinar
The MAPS (Mitigation Action Plans and Scenarios) program is a South-South collaboration among developing countries to generate evidence for long-term climate compatible development. Through MAPS, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru have been able to carry out nationally mandated research processes for the development of long-term mitigation scenarios. A wide range of stakeholders have been involved in developing evidence for action plans and mitigation scenarios.
This webinar was a collaboration between the LEDS LAC Platform, LEDS Africa LEDS Partnership and the MAPS Program. This webinar will present the MAPS approach and its results in Chile, as well as how Chile and other Latin American countries are using the MAPS process basis for the development of Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (iNDCs) to be submitted to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
The webinar was conducted in English.
