About the webinar

As a result of COP21, the recent Paris Agreement marks a historic milestone in global negotiations on climate change, setting a common goal of not exceeding a 2°C increase in global average temperature. Maintaining the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities and recognizing the capabilities of each country, the Agreement lays the foundation for collective progress towards resilient, low-emission development.

In this webinar, three high-level technical and political experts shared their views on the implications of the Paris Agreement for Latin America and the Caribbean, with special attention to the challenges and opportunities for the formulation of national, subnational and sectoral policies and strategies for economic and social development.

The webinar was given in Spanish. If you have any questions, please contact the LEDS LAC Secretariat at info@ledslac.org
