About the webinar
Resource management has a major impact on the environment, linked both to the extraction of materials or resources and to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and pollution. There is great potential to increase resource efficiency throughout the entire life cycle of a resource or product, considering raw material extraction, design, production, transportation, consumption and final disposal.
Within this framework, we inaugurated a new Resource Efficiency Working Group, with the objective of providing a space for the exchange of knowledge, experience and discussion on the different strategies that allow us to manage resources more efficiently, as well as to design systems that reduce the consumption and waste of resources, while contributing to climate protection. The nature of this working group is multidisciplinary, as it combines different areas of action related to climate change, such as production, transportation, consumption, and waste management.
This webinar will present innovative experiences in the region and new challenges in the field. The webinar will be held at Spanish. If you have any questions about this event, please contact the LEDS LAC Platform Secretariat: info@ledslac.org.
