About the briefing
The UNFCCC launched in February 2018 a new portal to facilitate to invite all countries and other stakeholders, including businesses, investors, cities, regions and civil society, to submit proposals to the Talanoa Dialogue around three central questions - Where are we? Where do we want to go? How do we get there? - with the aim of contributing ideas, recommendations and information that can help drive climate action to meet the Paris Agreement targets and support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
During the session, information will be provided on: Everything you should know about the Talanoa Dialogue, How society, academia, companies, etc. can participate, information will be provided to submit proposals through the new portal.

About the panelist
Daniel is a technical officer of the Regional Collaborating Center for Latin America and the Caribbean of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), has been working on climate change issues since 2005, is a mechanical engineer and holds a master's degree in quality management systems.
