About the webinar
The webinar will present the experiences of some of the most advanced European and Asian countries in the field of solid waste management, in order to generate new opportunities on technologies, and adaptation and mitigation measures to climate change in Latin America. This paradigm shift, in which waste is considered a resource, is part of the strategy towards a circular economy.
The speakers will share case studies on the management of solid waste in various areas (organic, «waste to energy» and recycling), which seeks to promote climate actions that allow participants to discuss the opportunities for implementation in countries of the region.
The webinar will be held in Spanish. If you have any questions about this event, please contact the LEDS LAC Platform Secretariat: info@ledslac.org.
