Panama City
September 26, 27 and 28, 2016
V Taller regional de LEDS LAC avanzando hacia un desarrollo resiliente y bajo en emisiones implementando el acuerdo de paris

About the Workshop

Following the approval of the Paris Agreement during COP21, the fifth edition of the LEDS LAC Regional Workshop will focus on the implementation of the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and other commitments made by the countries of the region, as key elements of the transformation of their development patterns.

This year we will hold the workshop in conjunction with the Latin American Carbon Forum 2016(LACFF) during the First Latin American and Caribbean Climate Week.

The workshop will provide a space for government officials, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and other actors working to promote climate compatible development to share experiences and best practices, identify common challenges, strengthen capacities and establish collaborative links.

It is organized with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), CAF - Development Bank of Latin America - and the European Union through the EUROCLIMA Program as strategic partners and the sponsorship of the Climate and Development Alliance (CDKN), the World Bank and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
