About the event
Nature-based solutions (NBS), forest management, as well as indigenous peoples' issues, are strongly linked in the dynamics of land use change in the territory, with clear contributions not only to climate change mitigation, but also to adaptation and conservation of ecosystems that sustain life on earth. This virtual session seeks to present some entry points on these issues in the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), as well as to identify some challenges and opportunities for their integration in this important instrument for the management of climate change in the countries.
