About the webinar

Improving the sustainability of urban transport in Latin America through a modal shift, the deployment of emerging technologies and other measures is of vital importance for the fight against climate change and entails various co-benefits such as improved health and air quality.

Significant investments are needed to increase the sustainability of urban transport and mitigate climate change. Public sector climate finance represents an important catalyst to attract the necessary private finance. To facilitate access to available funds, climate change considerations should be better integrated into urban mobility projects. EUROCLIMA has been supporting Latin American countries to formulate climate finance proposals. This webinar will share examples and experiences to improve access to climate finance for sustainable urban mobility in Latin America.

The webinar will be held in Spanish. If you have any questions about this event, please contact the Secretariat of the LEDS LAC Platform: info@ledslac.org.
