During the session, specific cases were presented on the use of waste to generate biogas, highlighting the importance of the circular economy in agricultural production. The fundamental role played by business models in the implementation of sustainable projects was highlighted, presenting successful experiences such as those developed at the "Cosecha Real" farm in Colombia and by Sistema Bio in Central America and Colombia.

Under the theme "Coordinating and Empowering Regional Action towards COP30", this year's workshop will focus on capacity building and collaboration focused on the process of updating the NDCs, increasing ambition and linking with the Long Term Strategies (LTS), in light of the UAE Consensus and Global Stocktaking (GST).

As a contribution to the discussions of the workshop to elaborate the roadmap for the institutional initiative "Accelerating Climate Action in the Bolivian Private Business Sector", organized by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and other partners, the Community of Practice on Public-Private Articulation for Climate Action in Latin America (ArticuLAC) organized a panel on Latin American experiences in developing mechanisms to articulate private sector climate action with national objectives.

The innovative AdaptAcción tool was presented, designed to increase the participation of the private sector and jointly identify and manage climate risks, implement adaptation actions, optimize internal processes and reduce the impact of climate change.
