About the webinar

During 2018, 02 relevant milestones were reached for Peru's Comprehensive Climate Change Management. On April 17, the Framework Law on Climate Change N°30754 was enacted; and in December of the same year, the Multisectoral Working Group in charge of generating technical information to guide the implementation of the Nationally Determined Contributions (GTM-NDC) defined in its final report, the adaptation and mitigation measures that are part of the NDCs to the year 2030.

The identification of the 91 adaptation measures and 62 mitigation measures involved multi-sectoral, multi-level and multi-stakeholder work within the framework of the participatory process called "Let's talk about the NDCs". For 2019, the socialization and linkage of the NDCs with the Regional Climate Change Strategies (ERCC) has been prioritized.

In this first virtual event, aimed at key actors in the regions of Peru, the Roadmap for the development of the National Adaptation Plan will be presented, in order to receive contributions to the proposal. The webinar will be conducted in Spanish. If you have any questions about this event, please contact the LEDS LAC Platform Secretariat: info@ledslac.org.
