About the webinar
The Paris Agreement provides a framework to drive a transformation process towards resilient and low-emission development in the Latin American region. With its entry into force in November 2016, this agreement commits countries to readjust their economic, social and environmental policies in light of their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). This poses new challenges for climate action.
The webinar seeks to establish a dialogue between the Executive Secretariat of the UNFCCC and Latin American journalists and communicators to discuss the challenges for the region of the entry into force of the Paris Agreement, with the aim of promoting greater and more in-depth coverage on the subject.
