About the webinar

Countries are increasingly including climate change adaptation commitments and considerations in their climate and development policies, recognizing the need to make the necessary adjustments in response to changing climatic conditions. Latin America and the Caribbean, with high vulnerability indices, is no exception to this trend.

However, one of the main challenges of climate change adaptation is to ensure that the adaptation measures taken have the desired results, since conditions are uncertain and the best results are achieved when impacts do not occur as opposed to when something does occur.

This webinar will explore advances in measuring and evaluating adaptation, through a presentation by the World Bank on approaches taken in this regard, followed by interventions from Mexico and Colombia on their experiences with the need for and solutions for adaptation M&E. The webinar will be held at English. For more information about the webinar, click here.
