About the webinar

The MAPS (Mitigation Action Plans and Scenarios) program is a South-South collaboration among developing countries to generate evidence for long-term climate compatible development. Through MAPS, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru have been able to carry out nationally mandated research processes for the development of long-term mitigation scenarios. A wide range of stakeholders have been involved in the development of evidence for action plans and mitigation scenarios. This webinar presented the MAPS approach and its results in the region, as well as how Peru and Chile are using the basis of the MAPS processes for the development of Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs) to be submitted to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

The webinar was conducted in Spanish.
