To meet the national targets defined in the Paris Agreement, many countries are opting for green H2 and its derivatives, especially for the decarbonization of those industries that are difficult to electrify, such as the steel, chemical and aerospace industries, where green H2 and PtX technologies can play an important role.
On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) of the Federal Republic of Germany, the project "The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection" is being developed.Implementation of the International Hydrogen Development Program" (H2-Uppp)implemented by the German Development Cooperation GIZ, which promotes the production of green hydrogen (H2) and the public-private-industry partnership (PPP), and the Power-to-X (PtX) that works with public industry players, especially in developing and emerging countries.
