About the webinar

The Paris Agreement constitutes a framework to promote a process of transformation towards a resilient and low emission development in the Latin American region. Entering into force in November 2016, this agreement commits countries to readjust their economic, social and environmental policies in the light of their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). This poses new challenges for climate action.

The webinar aims at establishing a dialogue between the Executive Secretariat of the UNFCCC and Latin American journalists and communicators, to discuss the challenges for the region of the entry into force of the Paris Agreement, with the objective of promoting a wider and deeper coverage of this topic.

The webinar will be held in Spanish and it is exclusive for Latin American journalists and communicators. If you have any questions about this event, please contact LEDS LAC Platform Secretariat: info@ledslac.org.
